A mine hoist is a mechanism for transporting large-sized objects, the basis of which is a metal frame mine with a compartment or a platform that moves in a vertical plane. These lifts are installed in warehouses, production facilities, shops, multi-storey residential buildings and public catering establishments. The load is moved without swinging. Due to this, the productivity of the lifting mechanism increases.

The lifting system can be installed both inside and outside the building. With the help of a mine device, you can transport large-sized and bulky cargo weighing more than 8 tons

In addition to standard systems, there are lifts for special purposes. These products are used in the construction of towers and chimneys. A gear motor or hoist is used to move the cabin or platform. The device of the first type is an electric motor and a gearbox located in one unit. The gear motor has compact dimensions and high efficiency. The unit is easy to maintain and operate.

A hoist is a lifting mechanism with a manual or mechanized drive. The main elements of the unit include movable and fixed blocks, as well as cable pulleys and a steel chain. Manual mechanisms are divided according to the number of pulleys located in the blocks. Mining devices with the following load capacity values became the most widespread:

  Up to 250 kg. The lift is moved with the help of an electric drive, which can be installed in different parts of the vertical mine. The mechanism is controlled using a special remote control.

  Up to 500 kg. The lift is mounted in a mine with a pit or a concrete base. The electric drive is usually placed in the upper or lower part of the mine. The size of the cabin is determined by the customer.

  Up to 1 t. A self-supporting structure is used to transport objects, which is located in a vertical shaft and is controlled using a remote control.

  Up to 1.5 tons. The lifting structure is used to transport goods between floors. The control panel is located outside the compartment. Cargo escort is not required.

  Up to 2 tons. The device is equipped with a powerful electric drive and control panel. The mechanism is used for lifting heavy and oversized loads in the vertical direction.

Lifts differ in carrying capacity, cost, lifting height, dimensions and installation options.

In case of inaccurate positioning of the cage relative to the floor level, the limit switches will operate. They block further movement of the cabin. The weight of the placed cargo is controlled by the appropriate indicators. Exceeding the permissible carrying capacity leads to the stop of the compartment or platform. Phase relays are used to control electrical indicators. In the event of a malfunction of the sensors, a light and sound alarm is triggered. Mine lifts are not intended for moving people and animals.

Functional capabilities of the mechanism can change due to the installation of additional equipment. The extended delivery set includes load capacity limiters, global indicators, etc.

The self-supporting frame of the lifting system is made of blocks, with the help of which the structure can be increased to the required height. Components are fixed with nuts and bolts. The exit from the cargo cabin can be through, L-shaped or four-sided. In the latter case, special folding sides are installed. Doors with manual or automatic locking are installed in the cabin.

A corrugated metal sheet is placed on the floor of the compartment, which prevents the cargo from sliding. A cargo rope is attached to the cabin fasteners, the strength of which is calculated taking into account the reserve factor. Brackets are installed on the side walls of the cage, which hold the cabin in the mine guides. When the power is cut off, the brake system locks the cargo cage. The cabin smoothly descends to the first floor in manual mode.

Elevator shaft: design features


The shaft for the lift is equipped with a metal frame, doors with reliable electro-mechanical locks and safety devices blocking the spontaneous movement of the cabin. Strong alloy steel is used for the outer cladding of the walls. Metal elements limit access to the mine and prevent foreign objects from entering.
